The Nexq’s Basement Discord Server operates on a TWO-strike policy for ToS violations. We believe in providing clear guidelines and consequences to maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all members. Please familiarize yourself with the following strike punishments:
The first offence or rule violation will result in a 2 Day Mute. This means that if you break a rule that is strictly against ToS, you will receive a private message from Sapphire bot, notifying you about the specific rule you’ve violated. The mute serves as a reminder and an opportunity for you to correct your behaviour. This places you on Thin ice.
If you commit a second ToS violation, you will receive a ban. This means that you will be removed from the Discord server. You will be given a link to the ban appeal server via DM upon your ban if you would like to appeal.
If you break these rules and the bot decides to punish you, Unless it was an accident then the mute will stay in place until it’s over. You will face a more extended period of restriction if you return and continue. You will be issued a mute, which means you will be unable to send messages or participate in discussions within the server for a set duration that is NOT disclosed to members. However, you will still have access to read the server’s content during this time.
If the staff decide as a group to ban you because of multiple offences or rule violations, you will be permanently banned from the server. This means you will no longer have access to the server and cannot participate in any of its activities. A ban is the most severe consequence and indicates that your behaviour or actions have been deemed serious enough to warrant your removal from the community indefinitely.
Only Certain actions may result in immediate banning without prior warning. These actions typically involve violations of Discord’s Terms of Service (TOS) and Guidelines, which serve as the overarching rules and policies governing the use of Discord. It is crucial to ensure compliance with these guidelines to maintain a safe and welcoming environment within the server. Examples of instant banning of any member: Sharing any form of CP, Sending scam links, Sending porn in media channels and predatory behaviour/comments towards minors inside the server.
The strike punishments are set as is and cannot be changed for ToS violations. The purpose of this system is to provide fair opportunities for members to correct their behaviour and understand the importance of following the rules. By adhering to the guidelines and respecting the community, we can foster a positive and supportive environment for all members of our Discord server.
If you have any questions or concerns about the moderation policy, please contact us by opening a support ticket from our discord server.
